"I've always considered myself to be a fairly neat and organized person, in fact, some would say "anal". When you walk into my closet, you would see that my shirts hang by color, and in my kitchen the silverware are in their correct trays. I had my mom and husband fooled, and just about everybody else except me. I knew that if you pulled out those drawers further, or went into the back of my basement, you would see that it all fell apart. That is where Absolutely Alice came in!! Without much direction (hard to do with me as a "control freak"), Alice was able to go through everything and decide what things she could go ahead and organize, what I may want to consider donating, and got rid of all the things not worth saving. I have never seen anyone work so hard! For these reasons, I am able to sleep better at night knowing that my home is truly organized. Alice's help has been invaluable. My kids have even noticed me spending more time with them - how great is that! If you asked me if I would hire Alice again, I would say "absolutely"!!!

"I absolutely had to write to you. I was very nervous about the gift certificate for your service that I gave my mother for Christmas. When I told her about it, she was not enthusiastic at all. In fact, I think she was kind of mad at me. I convinced her to go ahead with it. I reassured her that you seemed very nice on the phone and had told me that you wouldn't pressure her to get rid of anything she really didn't want to. She was very worried that you would be judgemental and the whole experience would be miserable.

I was pretty worried too, because my mother is a real saver. She saves everything. She even has clothing of mine and my brothers' from when we were kids, and I am 48 now. We moved frequently when I was young, every year or two. My mother saved one box of pancake mix so long that it moved with us at least three times!

I couldn't believe it when I talked to her after your appointment. She was so excited! She couldn't stop saying how nice you were and how much you helped her. You have also had a lasting effect on her. She sent me an e-mail today saying she had two more bags of stuff to get rid of from her office. She is a changed woman. I can't believe this is the same person who couldn't bear to throw away a butter tub (she has hundreds in her kitchen cupboards)!"
